Our Story
Talknex started with a simple observation: telephony and large language models had matured independently, but almost nothing connected them well. The hard part was never the conversation—it was making it happen fast enough to feel natural over a real phone line.
Businesses lose revenue every day because they cannot answer every call, and staffing a 24/7 phone line is expensive. We set out to close that gap for clinics, brokerages, and support teams without asking them to rebuild their stack.
So we built the streaming pipeline that sits between the caller and the model: speech in, response out, all under 600ms—~580ms median round-trip. Fast enough that a conversation keeps its rhythm instead of stalling on every turn.
Talknex is independent and solo-founded—bootstrapped, not venture-funded. That keeps the focus on shipping and on the people actually using it.
